Rep. Hunter Abell fights to protect the unborn and women who have been trafficked and abused
House Bill 5093 seeks to eliminate the crime of purposefully hiding the death of a baby. While proponents argued that HB 5093 gets rid of an antiquated law on the book, Abell points out the bill offers protections for the innocent unborn and the women who have been abused and sex trafficked. He says prosecutors need this law to go after the worst of the worst in our society – those who would sex traffic young women and take advantage of their fear and silence.
